»   HELP USING THIS SERVICE This web service is a database of organic forage, feedstuffs, grazing and livestock. Each entry in the database includes these details: What is available (eg Aberdeen Angus beef cattle) and quantity Organic status Location Contact details of the supplier. Entries are grouped by livestock, grazing, feedstuffs or forage. Search for organic breeding stock or store animals under beef cattle, dairy cattle, sheep and store lambs, pigs, pullets and day old chicks and fish. Search for organic and second-year conversion forage and feedstuffs; from hay to feeding straw, from clamp silage to crimped grain. You can also locate available organic grazing, such as pasture or arable stubble. How to search Either browse through the lists of entries. Click on a heading under the 'look for' section on the right. You will then see a list of all the categories where items are available. Click on the map to filter your selection to one area. Click on a sub-category or breed to see all the items available. Finally, you will get to a list of entries, summarising what is available, how much is available and where it is. Click on 'full details' to see the full entry. Or search using a keyword (such as a livestock breed) using the simple search box on the home page, or at the top right of every page. Use the advanced search to specify more words and other critera. Printing results Whenever you see a 'printable page' link, you can click to create a text-only page that will print easily. You can create detailed printable pages for long lists of results, without having to open each entry. This is not available for lists of more than 100 items. Adding an entry To add an entry using our online forms, click on one of the options under the 'Add an Entry' section on the right. Detailed help instructions are available within the forms. Register and login to the site and your contact details will be loaded automatically – and you can edit or delete any entry you make at any time.
